 This is my reflection on the commercial I did recently. Although I did not have much of a selection for technology wise for this project I was surprised on how much you can do with the small amount of technology you may already have. My phone really shocked me with how powerful it was. When I first heard about this project I thought that I was going to need to get all this fancy tech but that was not the case. My phone was able to perfectly handle everything. Not only that but it also could be that my phone could be better than some of the technology designed or made for filming. This project has taught me a various of things. The main thing it has taught me was how to edit. I did not get to much into editing but I would say that I got the basics of editing. I was never familiar with any editing softwares so being able to get an idea is a lot in my opinion. There are many benefits that can come with editing and I am thankful that this project can get me started with  how to edit. Anot

 Hey blog I am back once again! Hope everything has been well. This is yet another production blog about my journey on how I made this commercial on myself. Today in class we were taught how to "upload" our commercial onto our blogs. At first it I had no clue what they were talking about when class first started. But then of course I'm sure they knew that, because that was the whole point of today's lesson. After every kid was done asking questions and worrying. My teacher began with todays lesson. Basically explaining the whole process and what exactly we were doing today. She first did it quickly herself to make sure she remembered. Then after she went step by step with us. When she was explaining it step by step she wanted us not to be on our devices and wanted us to pay attention. When she finished she let us try it on our own. I got the steps narrowed down and was able to navigate by myself for the majority. In her lesson she explained how when we do upload our b

 Hey blog! It's me again! This is going to be the production about how I edited of my commercial. I did not know what I was going to use to edit. All I had for technology was my phone and my laptop. On my laptop I probably could have downloaded a software that would make my commercial look a lot better, but I'm sure it would've been a struggle to learn especially with how busy I am. That meant that I had to pretty much rely on my phone. I went on the App Store and searched up 'editing apps". Instantly a bunch of apps were on my screen. I scrolled and I saw a few that caught my attention. Some apps that stood out were, "Picsart", "Capcut" and "VideoStar". I decided I would try Capcut of the three because I heard many things about this app. I also heard that editing on it is not as difficult as other apps.  Hello Blog, I am back once again! Today this blog will be about my process on how I filmed my commercial. As I mentioned previously, I have no experience in this whatsoever. Because of that I do not have any fancy technology that I will be using to film. However, the most technological thing I have which can be used to record is... MY PHONE. I thought about it and my phone has a pretty decent camera which I can use to film. For my commercial I was very limited on where I was able to film. I also could not film at school because it went against the syllabus so that really only left me with my house to film. I set up my phone in my room and I decided to record myself just talking. This took multiple tries as I kept messing up. I wanted it to be perfect so of course I had multiple takes. Sometimes when I was recording I would get a notification which would make my phone buzz and because it buzzes would make my phone slip. This would make annoyed but I then put my phone on do not disturb

 This is will be the process about how will be doing the production on my commercial. This commercial is all about me. When I was starting this, I had to question myself in who I was. Not only was I questioning myself but I also asked myself what exactly do I want to put. As I kept thinking away I also thought to myself if this commercial is about me then this will be a representation of myself. So what will I want people to remember me by? I wanted a good impression for people because I believe that first impressions are extremely important. I decided to think of ways of how I was going to record this. Before all of that I should mention that I have no experience in editing, filming, or just anything to involve with production. I thought of the idea that with each production that there will be multiple takes and the one that fits in the best will be the one that goes in the commercial.       Hey there bloggers, this is the process of how I chose everything and set everything for my commercial. First I needed to find some videos or photos of myself. There was a bit of a problem however and this problem was that I did not have much photos of myself yet videos of myself. I had to go through just about every application on my phone. These applications being Photos, Snapchat, Instagram and etc. I found a good decent amount of photos within all of these apps but I barely found videos. With the photos I found I seen that a couple of them were from when I was a child. I decided to go with one of those and the rest of my photos when I was a bit older to show age progression. I had like 2 videos on my phone and these videos I did not like these but I had one where it was pretty recent and felt like it was one of my only options to use. Since I needed more of myself I decided to text some of my friends to see if they had videos or photos of me and I used the ones they gave me.

       Hello my name is Carlos Guerra. This is the introduction to what is called blogging. Let's begin with getting to know a little bit about myself. I was born on November 18th, 2005. I have no siblings so I am the only child in my family, and I only live with both of my parents.      I am currently a high school student in the 12th grade that attends Fort Lauderdale High. The reason I decided to go to the school was to get into the Cambridge magnet program and this is my final year to obtain the Aice diploma which means I have to make it count. The whole reason I decided to go to Fort Lauderdale was for the Aice diploma and if I don't get it then it would've been pointless cause not a lot of school give the opportunity like Fort Lauderdale does.
