Reflection


 This is my reflection on the commercial I did recently. Although I did not have much of a selection for technology wise for this project I was surprised on how much you can do with the small amount of technology you may already have. My phone really shocked me with how powerful it was. When I first heard about this project I thought that I was going to need to get all this fancy tech but that was not the case. My phone was able to perfectly handle everything. Not only that but it also could be that my phone could be better than some of the technology designed or made for filming. This project has taught me a various of things. The main thing it has taught me was how to edit. I did not get to much into editing but I would say that I got the basics of editing. I was never familiar with any editing softwares so being able to get an idea is a lot in my opinion. There are many benefits that can come with editing and I am thankful that this project can get me started with  how to edit. Another thing that I also learn is that these type of projects are time consuming. There is always something that you need to do and depending on what it is it can take forever. I was very busy so I had to put a little bit of my time daily AT LEAST so I would be able to finish. Now that I know this I can keep it in mind for the next and future project that will be coming up.  Next project I will put a lot more of my time into it so it can come out a lot better than this one. I will have a schedule that I will follow and with this schedule I will focus more on my work and production. I also feel like I need to improve massively on editing. Although I just started I feel like editing is extremely crucial to these projects because it is a way to show how hard you work on your project. If I better my editing I feel like not only will it show that I worked harder on my films but I feel like they would be easier to watch as well. I was thinking I could try a different software but I feel like with experimenting new softwares that it can be harder and not as easy as I thought it would be. But its a process that I am willing to learn so I can better in future projects!

 Hello blog and welcome back to the final bit of how me and my group edited the film. This is the last part of what went down when we edited the film. As mentioned previously our group decided that it was best that we had "shifts" to edit the film. This was so everyone can have a fair share when editing the film. After I left the film with the amount of cutting I did even though it still needed some more cutting. I logged back on and noticed a lot was done since I edited. For example it was below the 2 minute mark. I noticed a lot more transitions and effect were added. The group did a lot but that does not mean that it is complete. There was still things that were needed and it was noticeable as well. When I got into my "shift", I logged in and quickly watched the film as if it was complete. First thing I did was think to myself what I could add that could make the film better. When I thought to myself I also remembered that one vital thing was not yet in the film....

The FINAL Bit to The Puzzle

 Hey blog Im back again! This blog should is the final blog before our short film is published. As mentioned in the blog prior, me and the gang had to reshoot a scene. Based on the comment that was given we felt that this was the best decision. We arranged the closest date because it was such last minute and the film is due soon. Of course since we were meeting again it had to be filmed at the park we were at the first time. I also had to go pick up the majority of the group. After that I had to drive to the park and it wasn't much but time was running out because it was filmed after school and we don't have much time till the sun set. We arrived at the park and first thing we did was set up everything. When I mean everything I mean EVERYTHING.
